Workforce Development and Childcare
Workforce development and childcare are two important tools to ending family homelessness, especially when families are living in time limited housing subsidies. However, as the recession hit, some of these programs experienced funding cuts and a reduction in services. This community meeting will examine current program offerings for workforce development and childcare along with how to access these programs. This meeting will also include a discussion of advocacy opportunities to help expand these programs.
