Topic:
Youth and Homelessness
This community meeting will examine the complex issue of homeless youth. It will include a discussion of adolescent youth living in the family shelter system and strategies for working with this population. We will also discuss the rising trend of homeless unaccompanied youth and current legislation to improve programming for this population. This will include a discussion about the experiences of and issues faced by LGBTQ youth.
